Meet Leanne!! (@tradieladyadelaide)⬇️⬇️

Leanne

▪️Leanne is a 3rd year Electrician Apprentice! ⚡️

▫️Leanne was in the fitness industry for about 12 years. Entering a trade wasn’t really encouraged when she completed high school, although it was something she was interested it.

▪️Her dad is a mechanic, so he always taught her how to do things with her hands and how to problem solve.

▫️When Leanne turned 30, she decided it was now or never, and made the career change! She was torn between Plumbing and Electrical, but in the end decided she couldn’t handle that much poop in a day 💩😂

▪️Although she has faced some setbacks, it’s nothing that she can’t overcome. She predominantly builds switchboards and switch rooms for mining sites, as well as some domestic work on the side.

▫️ Leanne Says “I find it so reassuring that women in all forms of trade are increasing. Would love to see some more sparky ladies in Adelaide.”

▪️ @tradieladyadelaide Thank you so much for sharing your amazing story with me! I look forward to following your journeys through the last two years of your apprenticeship!
