▪️Lisa began as a licensed pharmacy technician for 12 years before she changed careers!
▫️She started working as an electrical apprentice a year and a half ago and she is absolutely loving it. She just recently began her second year of her apprenticeship!
▪️She has spent my time working on a couple of apartment complexes and a few commercial buildings.
▫️Her favourite skill that she has learned is pipe bending. She is particularly proud because she is good at it now, but when she started she physically struggled to bend 1/2 inch. She can now bend 1/2 and 3/4 inch no problem and manages to wrestle 1 inch.
▪️Lisa says”I love my Milwaukee tools! My hubby used to buy me flowers and now I get tools instead! 😂”
▫️Lisa’s husband is also an electrician, working on their home renovations together made her realize that she actually liked construction, and was capable of doing it.
▪️They both work at the same company, and her husband has been her foreman since March. They didn’t tell the other guys on their crew so they can see there is no favouritism. The guys can see that Lisa has earned her place with how hard she has worked.
