▪️Kasia’s best advice is : “always learn and don’t use your age as a definition. It doesn’t matter when you start to learn something new, it matters how much love you put into it.”
▫️She has loved cars and all things motorized for her entire life. But she didn’t have the opportunity to take that passion and turn it into things that are wonderful. Four years ago, she bought her first car, a 1950 Chevrolet fleet line. The car taught her how to tune an LS motor, how to get a bagging system to work, how to pinstripe, how to create incredible interiors, how to weld, basically everything.
▪️She took the car all over the East Coast. She participated in the hot wheels legends Kotor by driving to Washington DC. She showed it at a Syracuse nationals and was awarded a builders award, it has been featured in magazines as well.
▫️Kasia decided to sell that car, causing many tears, and chose a new build to focus her energies on and expand her skills. She bought “The Stew” a 1954 Commander. It came with all the pieces and parts, including a small block Chevy motor and turbo 350 transmission. On this car, she learned how to paint, how to build a professional interior, how to wire, run fuel and brake lines, how to rebuild a motor and even how to do a transmission shift upgrade.
▪️She presented this build to summit racing, and they thought it was wonderful! This build was featured on their website at regular intervals, and even participated in the virtual Sema this past year.
