Why did I start with women in trades?

Our goal is to bring more awareness to women working in the trades. We want to empower young females who may want to explore and learn more about what it means to work in a trade. The trades are predominantly male dominated industries, and that may intimidate young women to shy away from the idea. But the women featured here have been breaking down the stereotypes, and opening doors for the generations behind us, and their stories NEED to be heard!

What is next?

My plan for featuring inspiring women is to expand to women healthcare workers within the next month or so. I’d like to start by featuring 3 healthcare workers every Wednesday, and see where it goes from there. So if you know an inspiring woman in the healthcare field, send me a message!
